"Delicious, freshly made soul food. I got the fried turkey dinner, amazing. Fried okra, guud. Sweet yams, guud guud. Corn muffin, guud. Gravy was a bit salty tho. Lastly, the fresh in-house made peach cobbler empanada was a very nice ending"

"Food was great! We got the fried whiting and turkey with mac and cheese, yams, collards as sides. Food was hot and fresh and had good flavor. Everything tasted homemade which made it even better. Owners were nice and welcoming and the restaurant itself was clean with good atmosphere. Also get the koolaid! 10/10"

"So far I’ve had a veggie plate and the walnut sliders with fries. The walnut sliders come two for $11.99 and does not include fries which are $5.99. However I can say the walnut sliders and fries are very delicious and a must try! Make sure to ask for them to be fully dressed. I don’t know if the guy is a cook or owner but he has really great energy and that’s a plus when others are preparing your food. I’m glad I gave them a try. Food is cooked to order and they are often busy so you may want to order ahead if possible."

"Overall it was good and we were happy! I would go back again and try another dish and get more collards and Mac for sure! I seen this place on tiktok and was really looking forward to some good greens while we were visiting the area coming from SD. The collards were really good but missing something from when my auntie use to make them. They were not over seasoned like others mentioned. I almost wanted to add salt. The Mac and Cheese was also really good! Perfectly done! Fried wings were good n cooked perfectly but similar to any other fried chicken, not enough seasonings. Sconi burger had an unexpected texture and flavor. Either wasn’t beef or was mixed with another meat it wasn’t turkey either. Not sure what it was, maybe a sausage but it wasn’t for us. Did not have corned beef on top either. The service was great but just a recommendation to let someone know it was going to be a wait if it will be long one. We waited about 40+min for our food. It would’ve been nice to know ahead of time to decide if we wanted to wait that long. Place was clean and had a good atmosphere."

"So glad we have soul food now on this side of town! I'll be a regular customer!! The owners were so friendly and personable. The staff was amazing as well! Now to the food- some of the best soul food I've ever had! Feels like you pulled up to your grandma's kitchen table! Some of the best tastes ever. The beef ribs were flavorful and sauced but were unfortunately overcooked/burnt, but I'll get them again because of the flavor I'm sure my batch just got left on the grill too long (they should've discarded them because it was crunchy /hard , like burnt). The dressing (with gravy) was so flavorful and rich, mac n cheese was amazing, the spicy cabbage was different, nothing like I'd ever had. Can't wait to go back!"

"The food it was good not bad at all. I got the fried chicken with mac & cheese and greens. This restaurant felt short of five stars because the mac & cheese was salty and runny. The collard green juice spilled over to where the fried chicken was so instead of crispy fried chicken, It was soggy fried chicken, but I must say the fried chicken was well seasoned. The customer service was average nothing over and beyond or anything that was set them apart from any other Soulful restaurant or any restaurant for that matter. I would definitely be back to try other things on the menu and I will recommend anyone to give it a try."
